David Crystal's Begat: The King James Bible and the English Language is a series of forty or so short chapters giving accounts of some of the 257 idiomatic expressions identified by Crystal as having entered the English language from the KJB - either directly, or indirectly because though they are also found in other translations they have entered public consciousness through being included in the KJB. According to his count, only eighteen expressions are unique to the KJB.
