This article examines how Puritan ministers in England and New England built transatlantic religious and intellectual networks through letter writing. Focusing on John Eliot, John Woodbridge, and Richard Baxter, Alison Searle explores how shared religious beliefs, theological discussions, scholarship, and spiritual friendship connected people across the Atlantic. The article argues that correspondence helped create an international religious community based on shared faith, intellectual exchange, and mutual support, especially during periods of religious persecution.
